THE RIDE
The Sea to Sky Trail Challenge is an epic mountain bike ride from Whistler to Squamish along the famed Sea to Sky Trail. Starting from the Whistler Athletes’ Centre in Cheakamus Crossing, make your way south (yes, downhill) to Brandywine Falls on buff, rolling, single and double track trail. As you descend Cheakamus Canyon, you will experience some of the most spectacular scenery in the province. Roll along Paradise Valley Road and then on trail again to the Adventure Centre in downtown Squamish. After 55 km (and 1,000 m of descending!), enjoy a finish line celebration and a feeling of accomplishment that you get from this kind of ride.
You need to be fit to manage this distance, but the trail itself is not overly technical. Gravel bikes could manage it, but the route is most suitable for full suspension mountain bikes. For those who do not wish to complete the full 58 km ride, there will be an optional shuttle at the Fergie’s Cafe rest stop at 44 km.
To our fellow riders and supporters, we are excited to announce that the Sea to Sky Trail Challenge will take place on June 14, 2026.
Take advantage of our super early-bird pricing when registration opens and get the endorphins from registering early!
We look forward to riding with you at the annual Sea to Sky Trail Challenge.
